Inflight Entertainment Metadata

Skyline creates and manages metadata for all major IFE systems currently flying.

Metadata is the information about the inflight entertainment content.  Strictly speaking it means "data about data" and in IFE it is the information used to populate the graphic user interface (GUI) that passengers use to select their content.  For large systems this means creating or sourcing artists' names, media titles, pictures and content synopses.  At every stage checks must be built in to avoid errors and usage rights cleared where necessary.
